Electing the nation of Iran to the UN Commission on the Status of Women is rather like electing a KKK Grand Wizard to commission that is concerned with uprooting antisemitism or racism throughout the world. For just as a KKK person to racial equality what water is to fire, it holds with equal force that Iran is to the equality of women what water is to fire.
